Picnic in Pontlliw Park
Sunday 5th June 2022
CANCELLED
We are sorry to report that we are going to have to cancel the event. This is as a result of the weather warning issued by the Met Office about the risk of thunderstorms covering Swansea and the rest of Wales from midnight tonight until 6pm tomorrow. We attach a link to the weather warning:

As we are sure you will appreciate this is not a decision taken lightly but given the risk posed by thunderstorms it is felt we have no alternative.
We are told that many other events planned in the area have also decided to cancel.
It is so sad that after all the hard work which has gone into planning the event we are not able to proceed.
